WATCH: God-Changed Lives
TweetAmidst all the bad news we are constantly inundated with comes an uplifting story of personal empowerment courtesy of our very own BChatter Mike Shaw:
I work part time for Teen Challenge of Arizona. You may have heard of Teen Challenge. It’s an international ministry that God uses to change the lives of thousands of men and women who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. If you’ve watched the movie “The Cross and the Switchblade” then you know about how the ministry started in New York City over 50 years ago.
My work with Teen Challenge includes maintaining the web site and doing videos. Here is a feature style story I did on one of the students in the program who completed the P.F. Chang’s Half Marathon a week ago Sunday in Phoenix.
And from YouTube:
Jeremiah Elders went from addicted to drugs and running the streets to set free in Jesus and running a half marathon in the course of a year. Jeremiah tells us what it’s like to run your race and finish strong thanks to the love of God. God uses the ministry of Teen Challenge of Arizona to set people free! Way to go!
